Orlando, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - On a perfect afternoon in Orlando, the UCF baseball team concluded its preseason camp Thursday under sunny skies over the UCF campus. The Knights will now turn their focus on the 2010 regular season which kicks off with Opening Weekend Friday-Sunday vs. Savannah State.

The day began with the team getting the first look on the video board at this season's intro video. Immediately afterwards, the Knights dove into some fielding drills while the pitchers spent time in right field doing some flat-ground work. Batting practice closed out the day with the coaches deciding to keep baserunning off the menu to save their legs for the upcoming weekend.

If you can't make it out to the park, UCFAthletics.com also will have live audio and live video for every home game this year.

For the month of February, the weather should be just fine for a three-game series this weekend. First pitch Friday is slated to occur at 6:30 p.m. with the temperature around 60 degrees (it should dip into the mid-50s by the end of the game), while the highs for Saturday (game time 4 p.m.) and Sunday (1 p.m.) should be hovering close to 70 degrees and chance for precipitation so far is very slim.

Season tickets for the 2010 campaign are already on sale. The Knights will play 36 games at home this year including Opening Day, and reserved bleacher seats are only $150. Faculty/staff, youth and senior season tickets are $99. To purchase tickets, call 407-823-1000 or visit UCFAthletics.com.
