ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - On its web site, the New York Times has published a blog entry from sophomore guard A.J. Rompza (Chicago, Ill.) of the UCF men's basketball team. In the entry, Rompza, who recently finished an autobiography, details his path from Chicago to UCF.

Rompza, who is listed at 5-foot-9, completed the book, "A Little Guy in a Big Man's World," in December. The book chronicles the obstacles that he has faced throughout his basketball career due to his height.

On Saturday, Romzpa logged a career-high 39 minutes and finished with 17 points, four assists and three steals in the Knights' 62-54 win over visiting Tulane. Rompza ranks sixth nationally in steals per game at 2.8. He is averaging 9.5 points this season.

Rompza and the Knights will return to action Tuesday, hosting Houston at 7 p.m. at the UCF Arena.
