ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - After taking nearly two weeks off, the UCF track and field team will return to competition this weekend when they participate in the prestigious Tyson Invite at the University of Arkansas. Many of the top teams in the country will participate in the meet, which will be held at Randal Tyson Track Complex, site of the NCAA Indoor Championships in March.

The Knights face a talented pool of competition, as 13 of the NCAAS Top 25 women's track & field teams will be present at the meet. Live results of the event are available at ArkansasRazorbacks.com.

Friday's action will begin at 1 p.m. EST and will include both an afternoon and evening session. The evening session will be highlighted by the finals of the 60m hurdles and 60m dash. The women's field events will include the weight throw and long jump.

During the 2010 indoor season, three Knights have posted NCAA provisional qualifying marks in the 60m hurdles, including senior Tiki James, junior Micaela Wimberly and freshman Jackie Coward.

The Tyson Invite will be the final tune-up for the Knights before the Conference USA Indoor Championships take place in Houston on Feb. 26-27.
