ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Due to heavy rains in Clermont, the UCF softball team's pair of season-opening contests scheduled for Friday against No. 11 Oklahoma and No. 8 UCLA at the NTC Elite Invitational have been cancelled. At this time, there are no plans to make up the contests.
The Knights will resume play in the NTC Elite Invitational Saturday when they face No. 16 Tennessee and No. 7 Georgia at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively.
The tournament will come to a close for the Black and Gold Sunday with a 1 p.m. game against Chattanooga.
Season tickets for the 2010 season are only $40 and are on sale now, while single-game tickets are also available for purchase. Tickets can be purchased online at UCFAthletics.com or through the Athletics Ticket Office by calling (407) 823-1000.
