ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Heavy rains hit the Orlando area on Friday afternoon, forcing the postponement of the UCF men's tennis match against Troy at the UCF Tennis Complex. The contest was to serve as the Knights' home opener.
The match may be rescheduled for later in the spring.
Friday's contest began at 2 p.m. and the teams were able to complete doubles play. At around 4 p.m., singles play was stopped due to rain.
UCF will return to action Sunday, hosting Georgia Southern at 11 a.m. Admission is free at the UCF Tennis Complex.
