ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF baseball team would like to announce several additions to the upcoming Baseball Fan Fest Saturday at the ballpark. Everyone who attends the event will receive a ticket to be eligible to win prizes like airline tickets, gift certificates and UCF baseball merchandise.
For only $5, a ballpark meal by Outback Steakhouse can be purchased. Fans are urged to purchase meal tickets early for only 300 meals will be prepared. Other ballpark snacks such as popcorn and cracker jacks will be offered at no cost to all in attendance. Meal tickets can be purchased now by calling the UCF Ticket Office at 407-823-1000 or visiting UCFAthletics.com. Tickets can also be purchased, if available, at the UCF Arena before/during Saturday's men's basketball game (tip-off at 5 p.m.) or at the baseball stadium ticket office starting at 6:30 p.m.
Stadium gates open at 7 p.m. on Saturday. The 2010 Knights will be available on the concourse for photos and autographs. During the Fan Fest event all in attendance will receive a raffle ticket for the chance to win prizes which will be drawn by UCF players themselves. Fans must be present to win. All will also be able to receive the new 2010 baseball team poster and schedule card.
Some of the fun activities planned include inflatables for kids and speed pitch with radar gun for those who would like to test their fastball. At approximately 7:45 p.m., the team will assemble on the field for introductions and the exciting raffle.
Parking will be available in the grass lot behind the right-field wall and in Lot E8.
