ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - A day after Outback Steakhouse announced it will help cater UCF Baseball Knight Fest Jan. 30 at the stadium, ISP Sports and the UCF Marketing Office released an early list of items to be given away during the event. And fans will definitely want to be on hand to be eligible to win these prizes.
Baseball Knight Fest Prizes
- $50 gift certificate to Houlihan's Restaurant
- $20 gift certificate to Teriyaki Express Restaurant
- XBOX 360 2010 College Football video game
- Two (2) round-trip airline tickets on Allegiant Air
- Two (2) pregame hospitality tickets for one (1) 2010 UCF football game (actual game TBD)
- Two (2) tickets to see Blue Man Group at Universal Orlando Resort
- More to be added to this list very soon
For just $5 a ticket, fans will receive a meal ticket to grab hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and a drink provided by Outback Steakhouse. And that also allows you to be eligible to win an array of exciting items given out by the UCF baseball team.
The event will begin at the conclusion of the UCF men's basketball game vs. Tulsa, which tips off at 5 p.m. Gates to the baseball field will open at approximately 7 p.m., with the team to introduce themselves at 7:45 p.m.
Tickets are on sale now by calling the UCF Ticket Office at 407-823-1000, checking out UCFAthletics.com, by visiting ticket sales display located outside of section 102 at the UCF Arena prior to basketball games, or by purchasing tickets prior to the event at the baseball ticket office Jan. 30.
For those who would just like to meet the team, get autographs and pick up this year's poster, Baseball Knight Fest is free to everyone, but a ticket is required to be able to win prizes and grab a meal courtesy of Outback Steakhouse.
Season tickets for the 2010 campaign are already on sale, but are going fast. The Knights will play 36 games at home this year including Opening Day Feb. 19, and reserved chairbacks are just $199, while reserved bleacher seats are only $150. Faculty/staff, youth and senior season tickets are $99. To purchase tickets, call 407-823-1000 or visit UCFAthletics.com.
