ORLANDO, Fla. -
It was a fantastic fall for UCF Athletics. The football team won five of its final six games and played in the St. Petersburg Bowl, bringing 20,000 Knights fans down I-4 for the trip. The women's soccer team won the Conference USA Championship and played in the NCAA Tournament. The women's basketball team began its quest to repeat as Conference USA Champions and the men's basketball season opened before much larger crowds at UCF Arena. The men's soccer, volleyball, cross country, tennis and golf teams also provided many highlights for UCF fans.
