ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - With its home opener just over a month away, the UCF softball team announced Monday that season tickets for the 2010 season are now on sale. With 32 games slated to be played at the UCF Softball Complex this year, which includes contests against in-state rivals Florida and Florida State, season ticket holders will have no shortage of exciting matchups and fun-filled promotions.
Season tickets for the 2010 season are only $40 and are now available for purchase online at UCFAthletics.com or by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at (407) UCF-1000.
The Knights open their home schedule Feb. 17 when Stetson makes the short trip to Orlando, while this year's tilt also includes games against Connecticut, Ohio State and Drake, among others, in non-conference action.
In Conference USA play, the Black and Gold will face some of the league's top squads on its home turf, hosting defending C-USA champion Tulsa, Houston and East Carolina.
Another highlight of this year's slate is a stretch of 17-straight games, including one of UCF's two home tournaments, at the UCF Softball Complex during the month of March.
Single-game tickets for the 2010 season will be made available beginning on Jan. 29, with adult tickets priced at $5, UCF faculty/staff, senior and youth tickets priced at $2 and group tickets (20 or more) priced at $3.

UCF returns 10 letterwinners, including four All-C-USA honorees, from 2009, while also welcoming seven fresh faces to the squad for the 2010 season.
