ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF's women's tennis spring campaign is set to open up with the UCF Quad Tournament Jan. 16-18 against three nationally-ranked teams. And RadioTennis.com has announced it will be on hand to produce a global web cast of the event during the final two days of competition.
The Knights will host No. 15 Florida State, No. 25 Alabama and No. 33 Illinois at the UCF Tennis Complex. They will battle Illinois in doubles at 10 a.m. and Alabama in singles at 2 p.m. Saturday, before meeting FSU in doubles and Illinois in singles (11:30 a.m.) Sunday. On day three, the Black and Gold takes on Alabama in doubles and FSU on the singles courts (2 p.m.).
RadioTennis.com was born out of the BBC's radio coverage of Wimbledon and produces live audio play-by-play web casts of professional tennis tournaments from around the world via the Internet, including the U.S. Open. It also conducts web casts of the NCAA Championships and several conference tournaments.
