SportsKnight to Air Tuesday on UCF-TV

Dec. 8, 2009

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - This week's edition of SportsKnight, airing Tuesday, will prove to be an exciting one for fans of UCF athletics. With highlights from the press conference where the Knights received their invitation to the St. Petersburg Bowl, as well as highlights from men's basketball vs. Newberry and women's basketball vs. Washington, there is certainly something for everyone to look forward to.

The SportsKnight Spotlight this week is on senior men's basketball player Drew Speraw. The segment will focus on how he has become a `coach in uniform' for the young players on the team.

Also appearing on the show will be volleyball head coach Todd Dagenais. Dagenais will sit down with host Jeff Sharon to wrap up the 2009 volleyball season and look ahead to 2010.

This week's News and Notes segment will feature information on both women's soccer head coach Amanda Cromwell as well as senior wide receiver Rocky Ross. Also featured will be a look at the week ahead.

The SportsKnight staple Plays of the Week will again be featured. The featured song on this week's edition is "Let Go" by Megaphone. UCF Athletics, Real Rock and Axis Magazine are proud to support local area music.

The program will air statewide each week on Sun Sports (Tuesday, 4:30 p.m.) as well as regionally on Bright House Sports Network (Wednesday, 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.). UCF TV also re-airs the program several times per week so viewers have several chances to catch this week's highlights.
