UCF Athletics announced today that it has processed and allocated 15,402 tickets for the St. Petersburg Bowl Presented by Beef `O' Brady's, encompassing a total of four separate blocks of tickets given to the school. UCF anticipates that it will have over 20,000 Knights fans in attendance at the game.

The UCF Pregame Tailgate Party has also sold out. The event is being staged by the UCF Alumni Association and UCF Athletics. The event will occur in Lot 7A of Tropicana Field before the game on Saturday. A total of 875 tickets were distributed for that event.

UCF head coach George O'Leary and ISP Sports will hold a special edition of the George O'Leary Radio Show on Friday at Ferg's Sports Bar and Grill near Tropicana Field as a part of the bowl's official Block Party. The show will air live at 5 p.m. on 740 The Game in Orlando.

The Florida Department of Transportation is teaming up with the St. Petersburg Bowl to provide free travel information for the thousands of UCF fans who will be driving over from Orlando for the game. The latest travel information on all major roadways surrounding the stadium is available at FL511.com or by dialing 511.

The Knights held their usual Thursday workout today at Gibbs High School in St. Petersburg. Highlights of it are below along with a sound bite from Torrell Troup about the mixed emotions of the excitement of a bowl game and the sadness of it being his last at UCF. This afternoon UCF will partake in the annual Beach Bash before holding the team's awards banquet at night. SportsKnight will be at both of those events and will have a video recap tonight for your enjoyment.
