TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Three Knights were in action during the final day of the Seminole Invitational Sunday in Tallahassee. It also marked the last day of competition of the fall season for the UCF women's tennis team.

Two players were looking for titles in their respective brackets but came up just short. Sophomore Alexis Rodriguez dropped a 7-5, 6-0 decision to Denver's Julia Bauregger in the Black draw, while classmate Taylor Dubins was barely edged by South Florida's Natalia Guevera, 6-0, 5-7, 7-5, in the White bracket.

Sophomore Andrea Yacaman also took to the courts and suffered a 6-3, 6-4 loss to Ashley Murdock of Memphis in the Gold draw.

UCF will now enter the winter break and will get the spring season underway at home when it hosts the UCF Quad Tournament with Florida State, Alabama and Illinois Jan. 16-18. The Knights' first dual-match will be against Florida Gulf Coast Jan. 23 at 2 p.m.
