ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - A year ago, Jermaine Taylor graced a UCF basketball season ticket billboard on State Road 408 in Orlando. This season, sophomore guard Isaac Sosa (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) is featured on several billboards throughout the area.
The billboards are part of UCF's Armor Up season ticket campaign. The campaign highlights the fact that season tickets to watch the Knights play at the UCF Arena begin at only $79.
Billboards are currently located on Colonial Drive (east of Dean Road and also east of Alafaya Trail), State Road 434 (west of State Road 417) and State Road 434 (south of Tuscawilla Road).
Sosa is UCF's leading returning scorer after averaging 8.2 points as a rookie in 2008-09. He connected on 57 3-point field goal attempts during the year. This past summer, he averaged 9.6 points as Puerto Rico played in the FIBA U19 World Championship in Auckland, New Zealand.
UCF's season opener is quickly approaching. The Knights will begin the year on Friday, hosting Massachusetts.

Notes: Former Knight Josh Peppers attended UCF's exhibition game win over St. Leo Wednesday evening. Peppers has played professionally in Japan since concluding his collegiate career in 2007... When the Knights meet Massachusetts, it will mark the third-straight time since the UCF Arena opened in 2007 that UCF has started the regular season at home.
