Nov. 24, 2009

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - This week's edition of SportsKnight, premiering Tuesday afternoon, will again bring the most exciting highlights from the week in UCF athletics to UCF fans.

Featured this week are highlights from the men's basketball match-ups against opponents Howard, Auburn and Drake as well as highlights from the women's basketball game versus Bethune-Cookman. Also featured will be a look at the high points of UCF football's Senior Day when the Knights took on C-USA opponent Tulane for a shut-out victory.

The SportsKnight Spotlight this week focuses on the strength and conditioning staff at UCF, detailing all of the hard work they do in order to support the athletic programs at the university. Sitting down with SportsKnight are Tracy Prosser, Ben Fleming, and Scott Sinclair to discuss their roles within the program.

Also sitting down with SportsKnight is Ed Ellis, director of strength and conditioning at UCF, to go even more in-depth into what his staff is doing to keep UCF's student-athletes at the top of their games.

News and notes from football and volleyball will also be featured as well as the SportsKnight staple plays of the week, and a final look at the week ahead for UCF sports. The featured song on this week's edition of plays of the week is "Recluse World" by SugarFreeMusic. UCF Athletics, Real Rock and Axis Magazine are proud to support local area music.

The program will air statewide each week on Sun Sports (Tuesday, 4:30 p.m.) as well as regionally on Bright House Sports Network (Wednesday, 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.). UCF TV also re-airs the program several times per week so viewers have several chances to catch this week's highlights.
