ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Kenrick Zondervan's professional career is off to a good start. Through two games for ESTIA Egaleo in Greece, the former UCF center is averaging 11.5 points.
A native of Holland, Zondervan is averaging 22.5 minutes per contest, and is shooting 53.8 percent from the floor.
Zondervan, who showed great improvement each season during his UCF tenure, started all 31 games at center in 2008-09 and averaged 7.0 points and 4.4 rebounds. He increased his output in Conference USA play, averaging 9.3 points and 5.1 boards.
In August, Zondervan signed a contract with ESTIA Egaleo. The team is playing in Greece's second division this year.
Zondervan's former UCF teammates will open the regular season on Nov. 13, hosting Massachusetts at the UCF Arena. Season tickets begin at just $79 and are available by calling (407) UCF-1000 or by visiting UCFAthletics.com.
