TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's tennis team concluded a successful weekend at the Seminole Invitational with a doubles championship Sunday. Sophomores Joe Delinks (Falmouth, Mass.) and Eugene Dolgovykh (Palm Coast, Fla.) took the Doubles B Draw title at the three-day event.

In the championship match, the Knights posted a 9-7 win over Graham Edgar and Daniel Sotomarino of North Florida.

"Joe and Eugene did a nice job. I am very happy for them," UCF head coach Bobby Cashman said. "They fought and fought today. They saved a match point and that really changed the momentum. They took control of the net."

Senior Johan Beigart (Vaxjo, Sweden) and junior Blaze Schwartz (Pensacola, Fla.) were also in action Sunday. The pair fell to Florida's Dan Cash and Johnny Hamui, 8-3, in Doubles A Draw semifinal play.

"Overall, I was very pleased with our play this weekend," Cashman said. "We are getting better. Doubles was good. We had some singles wins against players from ranked teams, so it was great to see our guys excel against strong opponents."

The tournament was the second of the fall for UCF. The Knights will return to action Thursday, hosting the three-day UCF Invitational on campus.
