ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's tennis team will play in its last tournament this fall beginning this Friday at the USF Invitational in Tampa, Fla. All of the Knights will be representing UCF in the three-day tournament hosted by South Florida at the USF Varsity Tennis Complex.
With all of the Knights participating, this weekend will be a great chance for the team to show head coach Bobby Cashman how prepared they are for the spring season.
The Knights will compete against three teams in the USF Invitational; South Florida, Louisiana State and Miami.
Last weekend the Knights were in Athens, Ga., for the ITA Southern Regional Championship. Claudio Romano (Valencia, Venezuela) and Blaze Schwartz (Pensacola, Fla.) both posted wins in the main draw consolation singles.
