ATHENS, Ga. (UCFAthletics.com) - On Saturday, the UCF men's tennis team concluded play at the ITA Regional Championship by posting two singles victories. In total, three Knights participated in the tournament.
Both of UCF's wins came in the main draw consolation bracket. Facing Alex Hill of host Georgia, sophomore Claudio Romano (Valencia, Venezuela) recorded a 7-5, 6-1 victory.
Against Florida A&M's Michael Moore, junior Blaze Schwartz (Pensacola, Fla.) was a 6-3, 6-7 (9), (10-7) winner.
The event began Friday. The Knights will conclude their fall schedule next weekend in Tampa at the USF Invitational.
