ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - This week's edition of SportsKnight promises to bring fans the most exciting highlights from the week in UCF athletics. Focusing on men's soccer, volleyball and football, host Jeff Sharon will give fans an even greater look into what has been happening in these UCF sports.
The SportsKnight Spotlight this week is on Tracy and James Prosser, two siblings who have found themselves working side-by-side at UCF. Tracy, who is an assistant strength and conditioning coach, and James, an assistant men's soccer coach, will discuss how working together at the university has brought them closer.
SportsKnight will also sit down with women's soccer head coach Amanda Cromwell to talk about how her team has vaulted up the national rankings, recently being ranked as high as No. 12 in the nation, as well as what the team is looking forward to for the rest of the 2009 season.
Always featured on SportsKnight is the News and Notes segment, which will feature information on the UCF women's basketball team, as well as the plays of the week. The featured song on this week's edition of the plays of the week is "D&E" by Leone. UCF Athletics, Real Rock and Axis Magazine are proud to support local area music.
The program will air statewide each week on Sun Sports (Tuesday, 4:30 p.m.) as well as regionally on Bright House Sports Network (Wednesday, 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.). UCF TV also re-airs the program several times per week so viewers have several chances to catch this week's highlights.
