ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF TV has announced that it will rebroadcast the six-episode reality series of Cheerleader U which originally aired on WE tv in the spring of 2008. Fans can watch the series on select Tuesday nights starting Sept. 8 at 9 p.m.
UCF TV is available on digital channel 68-2 and Bright House Networks channel one.
The Knights were featured in the second season of Cheerleader U, and were followed throughout the season leading up to the 2008 UCA National Championships.
TV crews ventured to the UCF Campus once a month to film segments starting in May 2007. They also were at Bright House Networks Stadium for the UCF football team's clash with Texas, as well as for head coach Linda Gooch's process for submitting footage to Nationals and UCF's Spirit Splash.
The UCF spirit program will be on the field this Saturday when the Knights host Samford in the season-opener at 7:30 p.m.
