On his team's performance:
"I think the team really responded in the second half and they did what we as coaches expected them to do. They made some excellent plays on both sides of the ball throughout the game that really helped our team to come back from being down 10 points. Then, at times I feel like we fell short in the first half, but I'm really happy with the way they responded in the second half."
On the offense:
"The offense did really well with carrying over what we practiced all week, and what we prepared to see out of their defense. I think they did an excellent job of getting to the second level and moving the ball. Our offense really did a great job of getting a good push up front so that we could sustain drives and keep their offense off the field. "
On the defense:
"We came in at half-time and talked with our guys about being able to stop both the run and the pass. It seemed at times our guys were not doing a great job of making the tackle. They certainly responded well by wrapping up in the second half, and did a better job of running their feet. "
On quarterback Brett Hodges:
"Brett did an excellent job after giving him the start, and I think he did very well controlling the game and the clock. He really shows great poise and has somewhat of a calming influence on the younger players. But overall, he did excellent in controlling the game, and maintaining the same tempo throughout the game."
