ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - For Knights fans who find themselves looking for additional coverage of all things UCF athletics, this week's UCF SportsKnight is sure to provide exactly what you are looking for. The 30-minute weekly program is set to air this Tuesday on UCF TV at noon.
Hosted by Jeff Sharon, this week's edition will begin by looking at the highlights of the UCF women's soccer team's week at home, including its two shutout victories against No. 4 Florida State and USF.
The SportsKnight spotlight for the week features women's soccer coach Amanda Cromwell. The SportsKnight team went all-access with the coach at the game against the highly competitive Seminoles and viewers will be able to get a more in-depth look at the coach's perspective of the match.
Following this unique look at the game vs. No. 4 FSU, SportsKnight will sit down with coach Cromwell to discuss her views on the UCF soccer season going forward.
Additional information on the Knights will be provided through the news and notes segment, which will focus this week on former Knights who are now playing professional football. The SportsKnight Plays of the Week will also be highlighted. "Hear Me Now" by Million Year Echo is the feature track on this week's edition of the plays of the week. UCF Athletics, Real Rock and Axis Magazine are proud to support local area music.
The program will air statewide each week on Sun Sports (Tuesday, 4:30 p.m.) as well as regionally on Bright House Sports Network (Wednesday, 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.). UCF TV also re-airs the program several times per week so viewers have several chances to catch this week's highlights.
