ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Year two of UCF SportsKnight begins Tuesday. The 30-minute weekly television show that highlights all of UCF's athletics programs, UCF SportsKnight will make its season debut Tuesday at 8 p.m. on UCF TV.
The program, which is hosted by UCF alum Jeff Sharon, is also scheduled to air statewide each week on Sun Sports (Tuesday, 4:30 p.m.) and regionally on Bright House Sports Network (Wednesday, 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.). UCF TV also re-airs the program several times per week.
The season premier includes a look back at the first three weeks of athletics play at UCF. Highlights include volleyball's sweep of its home tournament, and the women's soccer upset of 10th-ranked Duke. The episode also features an interview with volleyball head coach Todd Dagenais.
UCF SportsKnight is produced through a partnership between UCF Athletics and UCF TV. UCF TV is available on digital channel 68-2 and Bright House Networks channel one. Each Tuesday evening, UCF TV has a two-hour block of UCF Athletics programming, starting with UCF SportsKnight at 8 p.m. The program is followed by half-hour episodes of UCF Sports Today with George O'Leary, Cheerleader U and UKnighted.
