George O'Leary Radio Show Moves Back to Thursdays

Aug. 26, 2009

ORLANDO, Fla. - The George O'Leary Call-In Show Presented by Buffalo Wild Wings, which debuts next week for the 2009 season, is moving back to its customary Thursday night. It will remain in the same location and time slot however as fans are invited to come to Buffalo Wild Wings on Alafaya Trail in Waterford Lakes from 7-8 p.m. to take in the event live. It will also be broadcast on 740AM The Game for those in Central Florida who cannot attend in person and streamed for free at UCFAthletics.com for the convenience of those beyond the Orlando area.

The live radio show, hosted by the voice of the Knights, Marc Daniels, always features a review of the previous week's contest and a look ahead to that upcoming week's opponent along with other talk about the UCF football team. There is also time for calls and live questions from UCF fans in attendance. Fans with questions can call (407) 916-8255 locally or toll free at (800) 729-8255.

Each week, UCF and ISP Sports will be giving away free game tickets and parking passes as well along with UCF merchandise and special food and drink discounts.

There is certain to be much to talk about in 2009 as the Knights return 20 starters, including 10 on the offensive side of the ball where the team will run a new scheme that has excited crowds during preseason practices. Meanwhile, almost the entire two-deep defensive front seven returns a year after ranking third in the nation in tackles for loss as the Knights topped Conference USA in both rushing defense and passing efficiency defense in 2008 while ranking second in total defense and scoring defense.

The show will debut on Thursday, Sept. 3 and be held the Thursday night prior to each of the first 11 UCF games, with the date and time of the final show to be announced as it would fall on Thanksgiving night.
