ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Attend any UCF football game at Bright House Networks Stadium and it is easy to see the benefits of partnering with the Knights. From access to thousands of loyal fans to being associated with an exciting product on the field, teaming up with UCF Athletics can certainly provide plenty of positives for companies and individuals alike. Through the UCF Courtesy Car Program, area auto dealers are provided with the opportunity to directly impact the success of the UCF athletics program and its over 500 student-athletes.
The key to the car program is not the amount of miles driven by a particular coach but by the relationship established in-between those miles which benefit the dealer and UCF the greatest.
"Carl Black Buick Pontiac GMC currently provides three vehicles to our hometown Knights. Our partnership with UCF Athletics is one of great importance to our customers and everyone associated with our organization," Carl Black Buick Pontiac GMC general manager Omar Rodriguez said. "Beyond the benefits and recognition, it is the personal relationships we have formed with the coaches and administration that have been outstanding, providing us some great opportunities."
In return for their support, organizations who donate vehicles receive donor recognition at the Golden Knights Club gold level, plus six UCF football, men's basketball and baseball season tickets. The perks, which also include recognition in UCF publications and invitations to special events, are valuable, but it is the partnership with the Knights that is the top benefit.
In addition, individuals are now able to sponsor a vehicle for a UCF coach or administrator and receive the same benefits listed above. Individuals receive a $4,000 gift-in-kind to the Golden Knights Club, and will receive four UCF football, men's basketball and baseball season tickets for providing an automobile to the program.
