ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF volleyball team's Conference USA-match at Marshall on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 2 p.m., has been selected to be nationally televised by CBS College Sports Network, C-USA officials announced Thursday.
The event against the Thundering Herd is set to air on tape delay on Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. on CBS College Sports Network, which can be found on Bright House Networks channel 106 in the Orlando area, as well as channel 613 on DirecTV and channel 152 on Dish Network/Echostar.
The Black and Gold will have another chance to play on the national stage toward the end of the season, as the network will televise the C-USA Volleyball Championship match live on Sunday, Nov. 22.
The nationally-televised event is the first for the UCF volleyball team since winning the Atlantic Sun Championship in 2003.
With the Knights' 2009 campaign just around the corner, season tickets are now available for purchase online at UCFAthletics.com or by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at (407) UCF-1000. Season tickets are $30, which is a savings of $50 over single-match ticket prices.
