ORLANDO, Fla. - Helping get eager fans in the mood for UCF's upcoming football season and back at Bright House Networks Stadium, the Knights will hold an inaugural season ticket pickup event from July 30-August 1. The exclusive season ticket holder event includes the opportunity to win prizes and meet with UCF's football coaching staff.
Fans that make it out to the event will be amongst the first to get their hands on this year's tickets. One lucky season ticket holder will also win a pair of half-carat diamond ear rings courtesy of Value Pawn & Jewelry. Gift certificates from Tailgaters Smokehouse & Spirits across the street from UCF Arena, and free DVD coupons from Value Pawn, will also be given out.
The event will run from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. It will be held in the club level of Bright House Networks Stadium. Fans should enter through Gate 1 at the base of the Roth Tower.
Fans attending on Thursday during the 5 p.m. hour will have a meet and greet with the UCF offensive coaches. Friday during the 5 p.m. hour will be a similar opportunity with the UCF defensive coaching staff. Meanwhile, Saturday during the 10 a.m. hour will be season ticket holders' chance to meet with UCF head coach George O'Leary. On Saturday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., the UCF cheerleaders and KnightMoves dance teams will be in attendance while mascot Knightro will also make an appearance during that time.
Each day, UCF will also hold a demonstration by TicketMaster teaching fans how to get the most out of their season tickets by forwarding, reselling and printing at home.
Free parking is available on the north side of Bright House Networks Stadium in lot E8 with any over flow going to Garage F on the north side of The Venue at UCF.
GKC and Ticket sales representatives will be on-site during the entire event to assist fans with any questions they may have for the upcoming season. The Ticket Sales staff will also be able to assist with additional ticket purchases.
