ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Senior Marc Rocafort (Barcelona, Spain) arrived at UCF in fall 2008 after two campaigns at Middle Tennessee. Despite battling injuries, he made a contribution for the Knights, recording 10 singles wins during the spring campaign.
Rocafort played at the top of the lineup for head coach Bobby Cashman. Now healthy, he is looking forward to helping the Knights achieve more success in 2009-10.
Rocafort recently shared his thoughts on why he elected to transfer to UCF.
"I chose UCF because of the school's great tennis program. Also, UCF is a big school that has a very good business school," he said.
Like most of the Knights, Rocafort is thankful that he can take advantage of Orlando's excellent weather and play tennis outside each day.
"The weather is great," Rocafort said. "I love the weather in Florida."
