Orlando, FL (www.UCFAthletics.com) - The spacious floor of the UCF Arena just isn't big enough to hold Knights fans who can't wait for the start of the 2009 football season.
Tremendous community support has resulted in a sellout for the UCF Football Countdown To Kickoff Luncheon presented by Bright House Networks on Friday, Aug. 21, and UCF is making special "Sideline Seats" available for fans. Sections on the UCF Arena's west lower bowl will be opened for $25 as all floor seats and tables have sold out.
Sideline seats can be purchased online at UCFAthletics.com, and will provide fans access to the UCF Arena for the much anticipated luncheon program. Lunch will not be included with a Sideline Seat purchase, but Arena concessions on the second level concourse will be open.

The luncheon will feature Head Coach George O'Leary and the entire 2009 UCF football team, along with the Marching Knights, UCF cheerleaders, KnightMoves and Knightro. They will be joined in the program by UCF President John C. Hitt, UCF Director of Athletics Keith Tribble, Bright House Networks Central Florida President Chris Fenger and others.
Proceeds from the event, which is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., will benefit scholarships for student-athletes. Registration opens at 11 a.m.
