A Good Start for Barber
After one round, UCF men's golfer Blayne Barber is tied for first at 5-under 72 at the Florida State Amateur Championship at the TPC at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach. The event will conclude Sunday. Devin Spies is also competing at the tournament, as is former Knight David Johnson. All three players helped UCF tie for 10th at the NCAA Championship this spring.
UCF Day at AAA
UCF has partnered with AAA to host the UCF Day at the AAA headquarters in Lake Mary. The AAA office is located at 1000 AAA Drive in Heathrow. Don't miss this great opportunity to come out and support UCF Athletics at the Lakeside Café on July 20th between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. UCF head football coach George O'Leary will be speaking at the event while there will also be appearances by the UCF cheerleaders, Knight Moves and Knightro. Fireworks at the Fountain
Join UCF Athletics at Orlando's largest fireworks display - the 31st Annual Fireworks at the Fountain at Lake Eola. The UCF ticket sales and marketing offices along with Knightro and the UCF cheerleaders will all be attendance along with over 150,000 Orlando residents for this fun and patriotic event.
