ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The Knights will travel to Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin to battle Texas on Nov. 7. Texas has claimed four national titles and now plays at a home stadium with a capacity of 94,113. In 2008, the Longhorns finished 12-1 and had a 24-21 Fiesta Bowl victory over No. 10 Ohio State. Texas will face UCF after three-consecutive games away from home - versus Oklahoma in Dallas, at Missouri and at Oklahoma State.

Offensive Player to Watch
Fifth-year quarterback Colt McCoy has a 32-7 mark as a starter. In 2008, he completed 332 of 433 passes for 3,859 yards and 34 touchdownss. He led the team in rushing with 561 yards and 11 scores. McCoy was also runner-up for the Heisman Trophy trailing right behind Oklahoma's Sam Bradford. He holds school records in numerous areas including wins, completions, attempts, touchdown passes, passing yards and total offense.

Defensive Player to Watch
As a junior last season, cornerback Deon Beasley recorded 40 tackles. Beasley has posted 84 tackles, 16 passes broken up, three interceptions, six tackles for a loss, a sack and a fumble recovery during his career. He helped Texas rank first in the Big 12 in scoring defense, total defense and rushing defense in 2008. Beasley is the only senior cornerback on the Texas roster this upcoming season.

Bright House Networks Stadium Inaugural Game
On Sept. 15, 2007, UCF faced No. 6 Texas in the inaugural game at Bright House Networks Stadium. UCF came up short, falling 35-32 to the Longhorns. The contest was the first game on the UCF campus and was played in front of a sold-out audience of 45,266 fans. The Knights' Joe Burnett moved into third place on UCF's all-time punt return list with his second quarter return and Kevin Smith posted his second-straight 100-yard game, carrying 27 times for 149 yards. But, the Longhorns' McCoy completed 32-of-47 pass attempts for 259 yards and led Texas to 488 yards of offense to seal the victory.
