ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The Golden Knights Club Representative Program is continuing The 2-Minute Drill throughout the month of June. This is a great opportunity for GKC members to support UCF athletics while earning exclusive UCF rewards.
Becoming a Golden Knight Club Representative helps provide scholarships for more than 500 UCF student-athletes, build relationships with UCF supporters, helps to provide a link to the University and the department and play a key role in building UCF's successful future. To become eligible for the drawing(s), a GKC Rep is required to raise a minimum of $500.
In May, John Rhodes and Ed Dwyer were the GKC reps raising the most money enabling them to win one of the following prizes: lunch with head coach George O'Leary, two tickets in O'Leary's Bright House Networks Stadium suite for a game or two invitations to the Friday evening pre-game dinner with the team. The drawing for the prizes will be held at the end of June.
The 2-Minute Drill prizes for June consist of two pre-game locker room passes for the UCF vs. Miami contest at Bright House Networks Stadium, two sideline passes for the UCF vs. Memphis home game or two tickets to watch a home football game in UCF director of athletics Keith Tribble's suite.
By raising a minimum of $2,500, GKC Reps are eligible for the grand prize. The grand prize package includes a trip for two to the 2010 BCS National Championship Game in Pasadena, Calif. All tickets, airfare and hotel accommodations are included.
To participate in the GKC Rep program and take advantage of The 2-Minute Drill, all you have to do is renew your football season tickets and GKC donation, and complete the GKC Rep sign-up form at UCFAthletics.com.
Once enrolled, ask family and friends to join the GKC and purchase football season tickets. Have the individual(s) contact the GKC office at (407) 823-2086 and have them reference your name to receive credit and gain eligibility for The 2-Minute Drill rewards.
