ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - In February, UCF Athletics and the Golden Knights Club introduced the GKC Rep Program. GKC Reps assist in increasing GKC membership and annual dollars raised to support scholarships for UCF's over 500 student-athletes.
Now, with the introduction of The 2-Minute Drill, GKC Reps have the opportunity to earn exclusive UCF rewards for their participation and efforts. The program centers around UCF's football season ticket drive in May and June.
The GKC Reps with the most dollars raised in May will be eligible to win one of the following prizes: lunch with football head coach George O'Leary, two tickets in O'Leary's Bright House Networks Stadium suite for a game and two invitations to the Friday evening pre-game dinner with the team.
The June prizes consist of two pre-game locker room passes for the UCF-Miami contest at Bright House Networks Stadium, two sideline passes for the UCF-Memphis home game and two tickets in director of athletics Keith Tribble's suite for a home football game. To be eligible for the drawing(s), a GKC Rep is required to raise a minimum of $500.
After raising a minimum of $2,500 in May and June, GKC Reps are eligible for the grand prize - a trip for two to the 2010 BCS National Championship Game in Pasadena, Calif. The package includes game tickets, airfare and hotel accommodations.
Participating in the GKC Rep program and taking advantage of The 2-Minute Drill is easy. After renewing your football season tickets and GKC donation, complete the GKC Rep sign-up form on UCFAthletics.com.
Once enrolled, ask your family, friends and neighbors to join the GKC and purchase football season tickets. Have the individual(s) contact the GKC office at (407) 823-2086 and make sure that the they reference your name so you can be eligible for The 2-Minute Drill rewards.
