Sophomore Lizzie Harris (Miami, Fla.) earned the honor on March 24 after posting regional qualifying marks in the high jump and the 100-meter hurdles during the opening weekend's Black & Gold Challenge, while also running the third leg of the 4x100-meter relay squad which set a school record and posted a regional qualifying time.
Last weekend, junior Kelsey Poljansek (Milton, Kan.) broke school records in both the shot put and discus while posting regional qualifying marks in both events. Her performance garnered her C-USA Athlete of the Week honors as well as UCF's Bright House Student-Athlete of the Week.
