ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's tennis team is set to host the Conference USA Championship beginning Friday at the UCF Tennis Complex. The Knights (10-10) earned the sixth seed and will take on No. 3 SMU (15-10) at 2 p.m. that afternoon. Admission is free to all matches during the tournament.
Friday at 8 a.m., the eight-team tournament begins as No. 4 ECU (19-4) faces off with No. 5 Southern Miss (9-8). The match is followed by top seed Tulsa (17-9) versus No. 8 (14-10) Memphis at 11 a.m. To close out the first round of play, second seed Rice (14-9) takes on No. 7 UAB (10-10) at 5 p.m.
The C-USA Championship features three teams in the top 75 of the ITA Rankings: No. 32 Tulsa, No. 37 Rice and No. 68 SMU. The field also consists of seven of the top-125 players in the nation, including the country's top competitor Arnau Brugues of Tulsa.
This marks the first time UCF will host the conference tournament since joining C-USA in 2005.

Parking for the tournament on Friday is a daily fee of $5 to park in any of the general "green" parking lots. On Saturday and Sunday, parking is free in any of the lots on campus.
