ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's tennis team will head to Greenville, N.C., for the weekend when it participates in the Conference USA Shootout hosted by East Carolina. This will be the first action the Knights (8-8) have seen since dropping a 4-3 decision to New Mexico State on March 24.
The team was scheduled to take on host Denver and Middle Tennessee State in Colorado last weekend, but inclement weather in the Midwest cancelled the matches.
Friday morning at 10 a.m., the Knights take on Southern Miss (8-6) in the first of three matches against conference foes. Saturday at 10 a.m., the team then takes on UAB (7-7), followed by a match against host No. 70 ECU (15-1) Sunday afternoon at 12 p.m.
After taking part in the C-USA Shootout, the Knights come home for good as they host Marquette on April 10 followed by the C-USA Championship on the 17th.
