ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Already with an impressive class of 10 players set to join the UCF women's soccer team for the 2009 season, the Knights announced Wednesday that forward Bianca Joswiak has signed a National Letter of Intent to suit up in a Black and Gold uniform next year as well. The native of Berlin is currently a member of the U20 German National Team.
"Bianca is a skillful, intelligent player with good ambition and tactical understanding," said associate head coach Colby Hale. "She has good pace and should add another dimension to our already strong group of attacking players."
Joswiak is preparing for the 10 Nations Cup with the U20 program in Spain, where they will battle the United States, Italy and England. She also has been a part of the U17 National Team and the U15 National Team.
At the club level, Joswiak scored 120 goals in 120 matches for 1.FC Union Berlin where she was named the squad's best player in 2008, and she also played in 80 matches for the Berlin State-Select Team.
