UCF SportsKnight Set to Air Tuesday

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Followers of UCF that would like in depth coverage of the Knights should tune into UCF SportsKnight on Tuesday at 12:30 pm on UCF TV and 3:30 p.m. on SunSports. This week's edition showcases a behind the scenes look with the women's basketball team first-round NCAA Tournament matchup in Chattanooga, Tenn. Also, included in the show is an interview with men's golf head coach Nick Clinard, who has seen the Knights climb to 14th in the national rankings.

Each week, viewers are taken inside the past week in UCF athletics by graduate Jeff Sharon during the 30-minute program. Throughout the week, UCF TV, Bright House Sports Network and FOX Sports Atlantic air replays of the show.

The SportsKnight Spotlight features the women's basketball team and its trip in to the NCAA tournament. UCF battled against North Carolina on Saturday and came up just short, 85-80, as the Tar Heels advanced. In this all-access segment, viewers will be taken inside the activities that the team participated in on the weekend.

Since dominating the field in the Rio Pinar Invitational, the UCF men's golf team has been climbing up the Golf Stat Rankings. Currently, the Knights are ranked No. 14 in the nation. Clinard sat down with host Sharon to talk about his teams move up the rankings and what to look forward to as the season starts to heat up. After a month off, UCF returns to the golf course at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Invitational in Awendaw, S.C.

The plays of the week and highlights from this past week in UCF Athletics will be shown on this week's episode including women's basketball, track and field and tennis. Further information on the Knights is provided to the viewers through the news and notes section, which includes upcoming events.
