ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - After her Knights nearly toppled North Carolina in the first round of the NCAA Tournament this past weekend, UCF women' s basketball head coach Joi Williams will appear on the Kirk Speraw Radio Show powered by Advance Auto Parts Monday evening. The hour-long program airs live on the UCF-ISP Sports Network and WYGM 740 AM in Orlando from Smokey Bones Bar and Fire Grill in Waterford Lakes at 6 p.m.

The second half-hour of the show will feature UCF Director of Athletics Keith Tribble. The AD will talk about several topical subjects, such as spring sports, UCF Athletics Hall of Fame, UCF Football FanFest and much more.

On Saturday, Williams' squad battled for 40 minutes, but fell 85-80 to No. 3 North Carolina in Tennessee. The 14th-seeded Knights were playing in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1999. On March 8, UCF claimed the Conference USA Championship title with a 65-54 overtime win over Southern Miss.

The 2008-09 C-USA Coach of the Year, Williams guided the Knights to the postseason in only her second year in Orlando. Her squad won 16 of its final 21 games.

Each week during the program, Smokey Bones offers discounts and specials for patrons wearing UCF gear.
