Printable UCF Spring Tournament Schedule
ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF volleyball team will host the highlight of its spring season on March 28, when it welcomes nine-teams to The Venue at UCF for the UCF Spring Volleyball Tournament. The day-long event is set to begin at 9 a.m., with the Knights opening play against Miami at 10 a.m.
Following its match with the Seminoles, the Black and Gold will challenge Florida State at 11 a.m., before playing in a pair of power-pool matches at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Also participating in the spring tournament, and possibly playing the Knights, will be USF, Jacksonville, Stetson, Georgia Southern, UNF and West Florida.
Each match of the event will consist of two sets to 25 points played on three different courts.
Admission to the event is free of charge, while parking will be available in Garage F, located directly behind The Venue at UCF.
The Knights are coming off of their most successful season in five years in 2008, where they posted a 15-17 overall record, its best mark since 2003, and matched its best Conference USA record, going 6-10 in the fifth-toughest volleyball conference in the nation.
