ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF's Hall of Fame Weekend will also feature a very memorable Saturday for the Knights' baseball program. The team is inviting fans to sign up to participate in the 2009 UCF Baseball Alumni Golf Outing April 11 at Stoneybrook East Golf Club in Orlando.
The golf scramble will have an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. This year's tournament will have many fine amenities to make this an unforgettable event. The golf package includes, green and cart fees, range balls, beverage cart service with complimentary drinks, an awards ceremony with many great raffle items, and a post tournament buffet featuring burgers, hot dogs, baked beans, chips and cookies.
The cost to sign up as an individual is just $80 while a foursome can sign up for $320. The Radisson Hotel on N. Alafaya Trail is assisting with accommodations and can be reached at 407-658-9008. Just ask for the UCF Baseball Alumni Weekend Rate.
Following the golf outing, the Knights will clash with Conference USA rival Tulane at 4 p.m. back on the UCF campus.
This event helps support the UCF baseball program and allows fans to enjoy a weekend with former players, alumni and friends. The program is proud of its past and always looking forward to the future, and they hope everyone can share in this tradition.
