Brennan Dobbins made his first start in a UCF uniform, and went 5.0 innings with five strikeouts, four runs and four hits.

For Wednesday's game, the Knights will be facing freshman lefty Matt Reed, who has made one appearance this year out of the bullpen. He will be facing a UCF offense that is led by catcher/designated hitter Brandon Romans. The senior holds a .435 average with 10 RBI and three dingers.
