UCF Athletics Hall of Fame Weekend, April 10-12, including the highly-anticipated UCF Football FanFest, is quickly approaching and tickets for all events are now available to the public.

The weekend will serve as a showcase for UCF Athletics, prominently highlighting the UCF Athletics Hall of Fame Dinner on Friday and the UCF Football FanFest on Saturday, which includes the UCF Spring Football Game, new Season Ticket Holder Select-A-Seat, Bubbalou's Pre-Game Pig-Out and Legends Barbecue and post-game 2009 UCF football team autograph session. In addition to other spring football fan activities, baseball will host a three-game home stand vs. Tulane, softball will host Marshall and men's tennis welcomes Marquette.

UCF football fans can purchase $5 general admission tickets for the spring game in advance by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at (407) 823-1000; online at UCFAthletics.com; or in-person at the west side box office at Bright House Networks Stadium.

In addition, fans can now pre-purchase a barbecue "plate" at the Bubbalou's Pre-Game Pig-Out and Legends Barbecue for just $5, also at UCFAthletics.com. Barbecue plates will be sold for $8 on the day of the event, Saturday, April 11. A barbecue "plate" will consist of a sandwich, beans and coleslaw. Bubbalou's will also have other tasty items on-sale to hungry UCF football fans.

Now is your chance to be a part of the entire weekend for only $60 through the Hall of Fame Pass, which includes a ticket to the prestigious Hall of Fame dinner Friday night, Spring Football Game (including Fast-Access positioning for the post-game Autograph Session) on Saturday, a weekend pass to the UCF baseball vs. Tulane series and a weekend pass to the UCF softball vs. Marshall series. That's over $100 worth of UCF Athletics for only $60! The barbecue plate will be sold separately.

To be honored at a dinner event the evening of Friday, April 10, in the J. Rolfe Davis Recruiting Room at Bright House Networks Stadium will be four former letterwinners getting inducted as Legendary Knights. Joining a list of 50 previous UCF athletics greats to be enshrined into the UCF Athletics Hall of Fame will be former letterwinners: Sylvester Bembery (football), Chariya Davis (women's basketball), Bennie Shaw (men's basketball) and Bobby Spitulski (football).

To purchase the Hall of Fame Pass, contact Misty Knight in the Golden Knights Club at (407) 882-1289 or mknight@athletics.ucf.edu.

The UCF football team will be holding its annual spring football game at Bright House Networks Stadium on Saturday, April 11 at 2 p.m. Gates will open at 1 p.m., following new season ticket holder select-a-seat that will start at 9 a.m. Current UCF students will have complimentary admission with a valid student ID card. Children under two are also free. All patrons attending new Season Ticket Holder Select-A-Seat are asked to enter through Gate 13, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

New in 2009, will be the family-oriented Bubbalou's Pre-Game Pig-Out and Legends Barbecue, which will be located at the top of Lot E7 on the east side of Bright House Networks Stadium and run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Joining the UCF fans at the barbecue will be a large group of former UCF football letterwinners, available to sign autographs, on a limited edition "30 years of UCF Football" mini-poster.

This second annual spring semester event will be reminiscent of a mini game-day on the UCF campus, including scale levels of tailgating, autograph opportunities, performances by the Marching Knights, UCF Cheerleaders and KnightMoves, not to mention the spring football game. Immediately following the game, fans will be encouraged to join the team for an autograph session, featuring an opportunity to meet the coaches and players. We kindly alert our patrons that VIDEO or STILL CAMERAS are prohibited to bring into the stadium for the Spring Game.

Parking is complimentary in the Gold Zone lots E3 - E8. Parking Lots E6, E7 and E8 will open at 9 a.m., while Lots E3, E4 and E5 at the UCF Softball Complex will open at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Those interested in RV parking should contact the GKC. Patrons are asked to enter the stadium through gates 2 - 5 and 11 - 14. After the UCF spring football game, fans can receive free admission to Jay Bergman Field to watch the Knights' baseball team play Tulane at 4 p.m. by showing their ticket stub from the football game. Admission is for grass berm seating and/or standing room only areas (based on availability and capacity at the time of entrance).

To help bolster the weekend's schedule of events are several other athletic events, including the baseball team's three-game series against Tulane. Friday night's game start time is at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday's matinee will begin at 11 a.m. UCF softball will host Marshall on Friday (3 and 5 p.m.) and Saturday (12 p.m.). The weekend will open up with the men's tennis squad taking on Marquette Friday at 2 p.m. at the UCF Tennis Complex.
