ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The latest edition of Coaches Corner with Joi Williams is now available for viewing online at UCFAthletics.com. The show, which is hosted by Scott Adams, can be watched free of charge via Knights' All-Access.
This week, Williams and Adams discuss the Knights' victories at the UCF Arena against East Carolina and Marshall to begin a four-game homestand. Against the Pirates, Emma Cannon (Rochester, N.Y.), Aisha Patrick (Rockledge, Fla.), Chelsie Wiley (Riviera Beach, Fla.) and Marshay White (Rochester, N.Y.) all scored in double figures propelling the Knights to an 83-72 win. On Saturday, the Knights welcomed 1,220 fans in the 10K Gold Rush, using the energy from the crowd to eventually pull away in the second half for a 75-67 victory.
The homestand continues Thursday when UCF welcomes Tulsa at 7 p.m. The Knights then will host the WBCA Pink Zone game on Saturday when SMU visits UCF Arena for a 6 p.m. tip-off on Bright House Sports Network. All fans wearing pink will gain free admission to the game, and a free pink t-shirt will be given to the first 200 fans entering the arena. Fans will also be given a free pink UCF bracelet, and a $250 scholarship will be awarded to the most spirited UCF student.
