? Finishing with 35 points, Jermaine Taylor became the first UCF played since the program joined the Division I ranks in 1984 to record three-straight 30-point performances. Taylor has scored at least 30 points eight times this season.
? Taylor has led the Knights in scoring in 25 of the team's 26 contests in 2008-09. After his performance at Houston, he is now averaging 27.3 points in Conference USA play.
? Taylor made eight foul shots against the Cougars and now has 271 for his career, good for fifth on UCF's all-time register.
? A.J. Tyler, who is in his first campaign competing for the Knights after transferring from Clemson, made his third start of the year at power forward. Tyler recorded a career-high 11 boards in a career-best 30 minutes of action.
? A.J. Rompza led all players with seven assists.
? Thanks to 16 points from Isaac Sosa, UCF's bench outscored Houston's reserves, 22-11.
? Sosa's 16 points were the most for the freshman in C-USA games.
? Jean Michel Yotio matched his career high with five rebounds.
? The contest marked UCF's third game in Texas this season. The team played at Rice on Jan. 17 and faced host UTEP on Feb. 11.
