ORLANDO, Fla. - UCF Director of Athletics Keith Tribble, along with several other members of the Athletics staff, will conduct a spring schedule of meetings throughout greater Orlando titled "Conversations in the Community". These community events will provide UCF Athletics with an open forum to talk directly with its alumni, donors and season ticket holders on topics dealing with the state of athletics at the University of Central Florida, including master facility planning, Golden Knights Club programs and event marketing.
The first "Conversation in the Community" will occur at the UCF Arena on February 24, beginning at 11:15 a.m., and will target UCF's student body, faculty and staff. That same evening, 6:30-8:30 p.m., UCF Athletics will conduct its second event at the Downtown Executive Development Center (Ying Academic Center) on 36 West Pine Street in Orlando. Tribble will host an event at the Radisson Hotel on Alafaya Trail on March 9, and also host two events in Seminole County, one on March 19 in Oviedo and another on March 26 in Lake Mary.
"We hope these open forums can provide a valuable educational experience for our audience, and, in return, assist our administration in building new relationships while also receiving valuable feedback and inspiring new ideas," said Tribble. "Getting our staff out into the community to speak about their respective roles within UCF Athletics is the primary purpose in hosting such events for our fans."
