ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF spirit program is pleased to announce that it will be performing for A Gift For Teaching's "Bright Kids Book Drive" event sponsored by Central Florida News 13. The routine will be catered to the importance of reading and be taped on Feb. 18 at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater.
"As a former classroom teacher here in Orange County I have a special affection for outreach to school-age children in our community," said head coach Linda Gooch. "We appreciate Channel 13 including UCF in this event and look forward to the opportunity to contribute."
The event is set to air on Central Florida On Demand, Bright House Networks digital cable channel 300 beginning March 1. The show will remain on that channel for one month and may be extended through the month of April. IT may also play on cable channel 49.
