ORLANDO, Fla. -
UCF Athletics announces that it will be holding ticket prices and Golden Knights Club gift requirements at the 2008 levels for all current season ticket holders for the 2009 season. Additionally, season tickets to UCF football's seven-game home schedule at Bright House Networks Stadium in 2009 can be purchased at new entry prices of $150 and $175 in the upcoming season. Season ticket renewal forms are being mailed to current season-ticket holders today.
"We are grateful for our fans unwavering support of their football program," said Keith Tribble, UCF's Director of Athletics. "We have listened and can understand and relate to the challenges they face in light of the current economic environment. We hope that our decision to hold prices, as well as to offer additional affordable packages, will assist our donors, alumni, families and friends for the upcoming season."
There will be no increase in per-game ticket prices for the 2009 UCF home football season. With the addition of a seventh home game next season, the price of a season ticket will increase from the 2008 cost only by the amount of a ticket for the one additional home game.
In addition, there will be no increase in Golden Knights Club gift level requirements for priority sections of Bright House Networks Stadium. To retain current football season and parking locations, donors can do so by maintaining their same level of giving in 2009.
For the first time, UCF Athletics will be sending out a joint renewal notice for both GKC contributions and football season tickets in one invoice. As part of the renewal process, UCF Athletics will provide new payment plan options to better accommodate the budgeting needs of our fans. Interested parties should contact a customer service representative at the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at (407) 823-1000.
Deadline for current season ticket holders to renew and retain their current seats will be April 1, 2009.
