ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - With one win and one loss under its belt, the UCF women's tennis team will go back on the road this weekend. The Knights will battle Florida Atlantic Saturday at 1 p.m. and No. 13 Miami Sunday at 10 a.m.

The last time the Knights took the courts was a 7-0 loss to Florida Jan. 24. Prior to the set back against the Gators, UCF defeated Florida A&M in its home opener, 7-0, without dropping a set in singles play.

The Black and Gold holds a 20-11 all-time record against Florida Atlantic. Over the past two seasons, the Knights have held the upper hand against the Owls with only losing one singles match. The Owls defeated Florida Gulf Coast and Wofford to open the season, but lost to No. 51 Florida International, Miami and Xavier for a 2-5 record.

Miami has started the season with an impressive 5-0 record including victories against No. 23 Tennessee, No. 47 Utah and No. 52 Florida International. In all five home contests, the Hurricanes have started strong by securing the doubles point, and are lead by No. 8 Julia Cohen, No. 20 Bianca Eichkorn, No. 50 Michaela Kissell and No. 114 Laura Vallverdu.

Following the matchup with the Hurricanes, UCF hosts a five-game homestand starting Feb. 14 against Georgia Southern at 2 p.m. Admission to all home matches at the UCF Tennis Complex is free.
